Dr. Marianne C. Dominguez
Dr. Marianne C. Dominguez received her Bachelor of Science degree in Evolution, Ecology and Biodiversity from the University of California at Davis, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences at Pomona, CA. Although she has lived in the USA, Philippines, South Africa, and Australia, she calls California home. Prior to vet school, she worked in wildlife rehabilitation hospitals in California for 8 years as a technician trained in field rescue, medical treatment, and release of wildlife. A bird nerd at heart, she feels lucky to have worked with the amazing variety of psittacines, passerines, raptors, and seabirds. She has also participated in several veterinary volunteer trips for wild and domestic animals around the world for over 10 years. In 2019, she was captured and adopted by AMC, where she now loves helping the diversity of animal species and people she gets to meet in Corona. In her spare time, Dr. Dominguez can be found enjoying the great outdoors, dancing, creating art, or teaching her two handsome tuxedo cats Figaro Magnifico and (the meowstachioed) Geppetto Galileo Scaramouche more silly cat tricks.
