Sophia has a huge passion to work with all animals, but she especially loves exotics. Currently, Sophia is in school to finish her Vet Assistant education and plans to move on to become an RVT.  Sophia’s love of animals shows in her home, where she currently has one pitbull, a Sulcata tortoise named Torticus, and frogs and chickens. She grew up with tons of reptiles and small mammals and through the years had many pets. When Sophia is not at work, she likes to go hiking every Sunday, trying new food and craft beer, and also nature photography. Sophia has done volunteer work in animal shelters and rescues as well. Sophia looks forward to growing and learning more at AMCC.
