Dr. Barton C. Huber (Dr. Bart)

Founder and Chief of Medicine

Dr. Bart received his Bachelor’s degree in 1981 and his Veterinary Doctorate in 1987 from University of California at Davis. He has worked in the veterinarian field for over 40 years, since his teens. He opened his own practice (AMC) on September 28, 2005. He grew up on a lake in Florida then n the hills of Thousand Oaks, CA where he fell in love with nature and especially reptiles. He is the proud father of Christopher and Raquel as well as owning his own small zoo full of various animals ranging from dogs and cats to tortoises, snakes, lizards, a DYH Amazon and a Blue and Gold Macaw. He and his lovely wife, April, have been serving the Corona community for over 30 years. Hobbies include off roading, visiting places with lots of wildlife, going to zoos and animal parks and playing with his reptiles.

Dr. Carrie Hsing

Veterinarian

Dr. Carrie received her bachelor’s degree at University of California, Davis studying Animal Biology and Psychology and received her veterinary degree at University of Glasgow (in Scotland). She was born in California but raised in Indiana then Taiwan. Before attending veterinary school, Dr. Hsing worked as a veterinary assistant and zookeeper. Dr. Hsing joined the AMC staff in 2017 and has a particular interest in pocket animal medicine in addition to dogs and cats. She is fluent in English and Mandarin. She is bunny mom to four rescue rabbits. During her spare time Dr. Hsing enjoys traveling to foreign countries, trying new food, hiking, cooking, and weight lifting.

Dr. Carmen Code

Veterinarian

Dr. Code received her Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University having studied Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Sciences. She then moved abroad to St. Kitts, West Indies where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from ROSS University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Code completed her clinical affiliate year at Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

She is originally from British Columbia, Canada. Dr. Code has always had a passion for working with exotic animals, especially exotic felines. Prior to veterinary school, she had experience working with tigers, lions, cougars, and lynx in Wylie, TX. She also owned her own reptile rescue for over 3 years.

Dr. Code enjoys teaching and being an artist. She has a black Pomeranian named Kujo that she calls her son, a Pitbull / Rottweiler mix named Diesel, and two identical grey and white cats named Spyro and Kiro. Dr. Code is the newest veterinarian on our team and is very excited to be here in Corona.
