Susie Johnson – Director of Medical Services / Lead Surgical Technician
Susie is our Director of Medical Service’s/Lead Surgical Tech. and has been working with AMC since October of 2014. As a child she was named Ace by her family since she loved to bring home stray and hurt animals to nurse them back to health. This led to volunteering at the age of thirteen at a local vet clinic before being hired there at the age of fifteen. She has been a Veterinary Technician for 14 years now. She owns three Pit Bulls, two cats, 1 hilarious Umbrella Cockatoo and many rescued reptiles. Susie has a passion in helping animals of all kind’s to go home safe and healthy to their beloved family with the best medical care possible.Helping clients and their pets are her passion and a daily goal here at Animal Medical Center of Corona.
Prizcilla Azpeitia – Client Care Specialist
Prizcilla joined the Animal Medical Center of Corona in August of 2015. As a little girl, Prizcilla promised her step father that she would one day move to Norco, Ca, and work in an animal hospital. While she is only a few miles away from her goal of being a Norconian, she did attain her dream of starting a career in the animal medical field. Since 2012, Prizcilla has excelled as not only a receptionist but as a friend and familiar face to many families in the veterinary field. When Prizcilla is not at AMC, she is at home with her three beautiful children, boyfriend, a corgi and a tortoise. She loves baking; photographing her family and finding new fun hair accessories to wear to work.
Shannon Clark – Client Care Specialist
Shannon joined the AMC team in October of 2015. Shannon’s dream since childhood was to work in the animal care field, and through her diverse range of education and experience, she has come back to her lifelong wish. Shannon is excited to share her knowledge and compassion for animals and their families with the wonderful clients of Animal Medical Center of Corona. Currently Shannon lives at home with her husband, stepson and daughter. Currently her furry/feathery family consists of two rescued dogs, two barn cats, three horses and three chickens; although her husband has come to realize, that the quantity of “furry” family members could change at any moment. When Shannon isn’t working or with her family, she is photographing, designing graphics or riding her horses.
Tiana Dixon –Veterinary Assistant / Client Care Specialist
Tiana started with Animal Medical Center in 2014. She loves working with animals, especially exotics. Tiana is the proud mom of five rabbits, three birds, and three dogs. She went to school to obtain her certificate of veterinary assisting, and is currently working on completing her associates degree at Riverside Community College.
Alex Nelson – Client Care Specialist
Alex started with Animal Medical Center of Corona in October of 2017, this is her very first job. She took agriculture classes in high school, and is currently going to school at Norco College. Alex grew up around horses from age five and now owns two. Along with her two horses she has three dogs, four cats, three goats, three turkeys, multiple chickens and a sheep. Shortly after starting at AMC Corona, Alex became our reptile care taker, which is quite fitting as she also is a proud mom of a 102-lb. tortoise, a snake, a night gecko and a chameleon. Alex has a special place in her heart for the snakes here at AMC Corona.
Samantha Perches – Client Care Specialist
Samantha has been with Animal Medical Center of Corona in June of 2017. She recently married her best friend Gabriel in September of 2017. Ever since Samantha was a little girl, she dreamed of working at an animal hospital for the rest of her life. Samantha has four Sulcata tortoises, a bearded dragon, and a leopard gecko. Her goal is to be a part of helping as many families to get their pets healthy and have happy and satisfied clients.
Eric Perez – Client Care Specialist
Eric has been a proud member of the Animal Medical Center of Corona team since June of 2017. At home, Eric has a happy little Chihuahua named Sapphire, and has a huge interest in learning more about animals and animal care. Eric has a special place in his heart for small fuzzy creatures of all breeds, and the cool exotic pets. He looks forward to growing and assisting to help pets and put smiles on faces. As a receptionist, Eric loves to connect with clients and patients with our awesome medical staff in the best way to fit everyone’s needs.
Terry Pagels – Administrative Assistant
Terry has been a part of the AMC staff since September of 2015. Before that she was a client since 2010! You may see Terry in the reception area, or talk with her on the phone; she is usually working behind the scenes. Terry is a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, and lover of all animals. When she is not at home taking care of her own pets, you might see Terry Volunteering at Pet Smart with the cats in need or taking care of the strays in our community.
Erika Ruiz – RVT
Erika is an RVT with an AS in veterinary technology and an AS of arts degree. She has been trying to save animal lives since she could walk. Her favorite word to say when she was growing up was “Daaaaaaddy”, because everyone knew what she meant was that she was asking her dad if she could keep a new pet. If her parents had a dollar for every time they said no more animals, they would be rich. She does not have a favorite species, because she loves them ALL! At home Erica has 3 dogs, 2 cats, a rat, a tortoise, a snake, and a very spoiled Iguana. Erika started with Animal Medical Center of Corona as an extern and considers herself the lucky one to be hired on after her graduation. With all the different animal AMC Corona sees and the like minded staff, she knew immediately that she belonged here.
Natalie Norton – Veterinary Technician
Natalie has been a member of the AMC family since November 2005, starting as a kennel hand and moving her way up to head surgical technician for years and according to Dr. Bart is the best “splinter” we have on staff. She is a very proud and dedicated mother to a menagerie of animals: Pitbulls “Raj” & “Dub”, Miniature Schnauzer “Trickie”, Chihuahua “Penny”, kitties “Elijah” & “Onyx”, horse “Chiron”, a snake “Damballah”, two tarantulas “Neytiri” and “Itty” and some fishies. She is a HUGE Pitbull advocate.
Debi Griffith – Veterinary Technician
Debi has been working with Animal Medical Center of Corona since 2014, but her experience as a Vet Tech dates back to 1982. Her love for animals doesn’t stop at work. She’s owned by furry and feathered friends at home too! Debi is the proud mom of Jack, a special-needs, 7-year-old Australian Cattle Dog; Holly, a 3 year old red Australian cattle dog; Moses, an 8-year-old black kitty and BeeBop a Bare-Eyed cockatoo that she has had since a hatchling in 1986. You will also see Debi in the exam rooms, working with our Doctors as one of our part-time employees. She can also be seen working as a volunteer within the community.
Jaiden Willin – Veterinary Technician
Jaiden has been an AMC team member since May of 2016. She has recently graduated from a Veterinary Technology program at Carrington College with her Associates Degree and plans to take her RVT license testing March of 2018. She has a special interest in exotics, owning a red tail boa, 3 ball pythons, 2 corn snakes, a leopard gecko, and a pink toed tarantula.
Debbie Ibarra – Technician Assistant
Debbie started with Animal Medical Center of Corona in August of 2017. Ever since she started working in the veterinary field, she knew she had found her calling. “When you love what you do, you’ll never feel like you are working, because it’s a passion”. Debbie enjoys caring after the hospital reptiles and cats. She has three dogs, and helps her fiancé with their tarantulas, chameleons, frogs, snakes, bearded dragon, geckos and scorpions. Debbie says she loves that her life is a zoo.
Raquel Huber – Veterinary Technician
Raquel is Dr. Bart’s daughter and has been a member of the AMC family since the start of the hospital. As a small child, she would come into the hospital learning and working however she could. She was officially hired in 2010 and is trained as a receptionist, room nurse, and a technician. She is the proud mommy of “Daisy” a Corgi, a kitty named “Doobie”, many reptiles and is also the caretaker/sister to two birds… “Joey” & “Zippo”.
Kenny Baker – Kennel Attendant
Kenny has been a member of the Animal Medical Center of Corona team since 2010.
