    Susie is our Director of Medical Service’s/Lead Surgical Tech. and has been working with AMC since October of 2014. As a child she was named Ace by her family since she loved to bring home stray and hurt animals to nurse them back to health. This led to volunteering at the age of thirteen at a local vet clinic before being hired there at the age of fifteen. She has been a Veterinary Technician for 14 years now. She owns three Pit Bulls, two cats, 1 hilarious Umbrella Cockatoo and many rescued reptiles. Susie has a passion in helping animals of all kind’s to go home safe and healthy to their beloved family with the best medical care possible.Helping clients and their pets are her passion and a daily goal here at Animal Medical Center of Corona.

    Client Care Representative

    Prizcilla joined the Animal Medical Center of Corona in August of 2015. As a little girl, Prizcilla promised her step father that she would one day move to Norco, Ca, and work in an animal hospital. While she is only a few miles away from her goal of being a Norconian, she did attain her dream of starting a career in the animal medical field. Since 2012, Prizcilla has excelled as not only a receptionist but as a friend and familiar face to many families in the veterinary field. When Prizcilla is not at AMC, she is at home with her three beautiful children, boyfriend, a corgi and a tortoise. She loves baking; photographing her family and finding new fun hair accessories to wear to work.

    Shannon joined the AMC team in October of 2015. Shannon’s dream since childhood was to work in the animal care field, and through her diverse range of education and experience, she has come back to her lifelong wish. Shannon is excited to share her knowledge and compassion for animals and their families with the wonderful clients of Animal Medical Center of Corona. Currently Shannon lives at home with her husband, stepson and daughter. Currently her furry/feathery family consists of two rescued dogs, two barn cats, three horses and three chickens; although her husband has come to realize, that the quantity of “furry” family members could change at any moment. When Shannon isn’t working or with her family, she is photographing, designing graphics or riding her horses.

    Eric has been a proud member of the Animal Medical Center of Corona team since June of 2017. At home, Eric has a happy little Chihuahua named Sapphire, and has a huge interest in learning more about animals and animal care. Eric has a special place in his heart for small fuzzy creatures of all breeds, and the cool exotic pets. He looks forward to growing and assisting to help pets and put smiles on faces. As a receptionist, Eric loves to connect with clients and patients with our awesome medical staff in the best way to fit everyone’s needs.

    Katelyn has been with AMC since May of 2018 but has been in the field since 2012. She worked as both a receptionist and a veterinary assistant. Katelyn took agriculture classes at Rubidoux High School where she was an active member of the FFA. She has always had a passion for animals and enjoy time spent with them whether it is seeing at work, cuddling up with her babies at home or going out and riding the horses. When Katelyn is not at work, she enjoy taking small trips with her fiancé. Their favorite place to go is lake arrowhead and they hope to one day own a cabin there.

    Veronica has been part of the AMC team since February of 2018. Veronica has a Husky named Marz whom she loves so much and a Pitbull name Rose. Marz and Rose are the troublemakers of her life., but she still loves taking the babies out for adventures. Veronica cannot say how much she truly appreciates getting to spend her days at AMC and absolutely loves being part of the team. She learns something new and is able to expand her knowledge day by day. Veronica lives to assist our clients every single day and makes sure to put a big smile on their faces.

    Victoria has been with AMC since August 2018, and although this is her first time in the veterinary field, she has excelled greatly. Victoria is sure to greet every client with a smile on her face and joyful tone. When Victoria isn’t at the clinic, she is home with her two Pitties. She has an open heart for all species and types of animals and makes sure they get the best care possible. Outside of work, Victoria enjoys looking her best, enjoying good music, dancing and making the most of life.

    Jamie joined the AMCC team in October 2018. Jaimie came into AMCC with two years’ experience in the field, where she worked her way up from Receptionist to Assistant Manager and filled in as the Practice Manager. Although she has been in the field, she is still so amazed at how much education and dedication goes into the Veterinary field and is constantly striving to learn all that she can. Her favorite part of working for AMCC is helping clients with anything they need and getting to know them and their fur babies better. Pictured with Jaimie is her first fur baby, Scarlet “Scarface” Savage, who is quite the sassy pants, but can be the sweetest (when she wants to be). Scarlet was adopted by Jaimie in April of 2017 and the two are inseparable! In her spare time, Jaimie likes to spend time with her family, and the family dogs- Lucy and Maggie, which were both rescue babies. Jaimie is very honored to be a part of AMCC and the incredible team members she gets to work with every day. She hopes to one day move up in the company, but is enjoying being the first face clients see when they come in.

    Natalie has been with AMC since July of 2018. Natalie is an RVT with an AS in Veterinary Technology and has been working in the field since 2016. She is Armenian, born and raised in southern California and since she was a child Natalie knew she wanted to work with animals, and she couldn’t be happier with the field of work she chose. As she started working more in the field, she discovered she wanted to work with a wide range of species and AMC of Corona has been a great fit. At home Natalie has 2 dogs, one Maltese named Snowflake and one German Shepard mix named Trixie and she can’t wait to get more animals like bearded dragons and cockatiels. On her free time, she likes to hang out with friends and family, go to Disneyland, LA Kings games and concerts with her husband and also play the guitar.

    Erika is an RVT with an AS in veterinary technology and an AS of arts degree. She has been trying to save animal lives since she could walk. Her favorite word to say when she was growing up was “Daaaaaaddy”, because everyone knew what she meant was that she was asking her dad if she could keep a new pet. If her parents had a dollar for every time they said no more animals, they would be rich. She does not have a favorite species, because she loves them ALL! At home Erica has 3 dogs, 2 cats, a rat, a tortoise, a snake, and a very spoiled Iguana. Erika started with Animal Medical Center of Corona as an extern and considers herself the lucky one to be hired on after her graduation. With all the different animal AMC Corona sees and the like minded staff, she knew immediately that she belonged here.

    Gabby has been working for AMCC since December of 2017. She graduated from Mt. Sac college as a Registered Veterinary Technician and has passed her VTNE. She is in process to take her California test to become a full fledged Registered Veterinary Technician.  Gabby has worked in the vet field since 2015. At home, you will find her spending her time with her horses, two large breed dogs and 2 smaller breed dogs. When she’s not dedicating her time to animal care, she enjoys spending her time horseback riding or drawing.

    Raquel is Dr. Bart’s daughter and has been a member of the AMC family since the start of the hospital. As a small child, she would come into the hospital learning and working however she could. She was officially hired in 2010 and is trained as a receptionist, room nurse, and a technician. She is the proud mommy of “Daisy” a Corgi, a kitty named “Doobie”, many reptiles and is also the caretaker/sister to two birds… “Joey” & “Zippo”.

    Summer Started with AMC in July of 2018 but she has been in the animal medical field for since 2007. She has worked in day practices to emergency services and has a passion for exotic animals. At home you will find Summer’s young daughter Scarlett Rose who is her pride and joy. She also has several animals, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 bearded dragons, a crested gecko and a ball python all of which are rescues. She is a driven individual who is always looking to learn more.

    Brooklyn joined the AMCC team in April of 2018. Before coming to us she had been working in the veterinary field for two years. Even though she never went to school for specific training pertaining to animal wellness, Brooklyn knew she wanted to work in the vet field after the first time she assisted a momma goat give birth. Since then she has gained an interest in all exotics, stating that it always is something new and different. At home, she can be found working on her farm feeding and cleaning up her array of goats, chickens, llamas and dogs. When she is not filling her days with animal care, Brooklyn can be found out in the desert riding her toys.

    Debi has been working with Animal Medical Center of Corona since 2014, but her experience as a Vet Tech dates back to 1982. Her love for animals doesn’t stop at work. She’s owned by furry and feathered friends at home too! Debi is the proud mom of Jack, a special-needs, 7-year-old Australian Cattle Dog; Holly, a 3 year old red Australian cattle dog; Moses, an 8-year-old black kitty and BeeBop a Bare-Eyed cockatoo that she has had since a hatchling in 1986. You will see Debi in the exam rooms, working with our Doctors as one of our part-time employees. She can also be seen working as a volunteer within the community.

    Brandi has been with the Animal Medical Center of Corona Since February of 2018. She is the reptile caretaker, and a Technician Assistant. Brandi is also in charge of cleaning and maintaining the hospital’s surgical instruments. As a student, she studied Agricultural Biology, and Life Science through Norco High School’s FFA Program, as well as Anatomy and Physiology at Kennedy Middle College High School, in Norco, California. Brandi was raised around livestock, and trained horses with her mother. Her experience began as a Volunteer Keeper at Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary, in Phelan, California. Her passion for life science grew into a career caring for exotic, as well as domestic species here at the Animal Medical Center of Corona.

    Erika started at AMC as an intern in December 2017 and was hired on in February 2018.  She graduated from Platt College’s Vet Tech program in May 2018 and will be taking the VTNE in July 2019. Her passion for all animals of all species is what attracted her to AMC. She enjoys her position here as a Veterinary Assistant and learning from Dr. Bart and the many skilled technicians. Her goal is to open an animal sanctuary of her own. She has seven fur/feather babies of her own: Three dogs, three guinea pigs, and a parakeet.

    Natalie has been a member of the AMC family since November 2005, starting as a kennel hand and moving her way up to head surgical technician for years and according to Dr. Bart is the best “splinter” we have on staff. She is cross trained in all areas of the hospital & is a very proud and dedicated mother to a menagerie of animals: including two Pitbulls, her Madagascar ground boa, and a thoroughbred horse just to name a few. She is a HUGE Pitbull advocate. In her spare time, Natalie also offers a house/pet sitting service, caring for others’ pets, outside of her hospital career.

    Jaiden has been an AMC team member since May of 2016. She graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Carrington College with her Associates Degree and plans to take her RVT license testing soon. Jaiden has a special interest in exotics. At home, she resides with a leopard gecko named freckles and four dogs.

    Kenny has been a member of the Animal Medical Center of Corona team since September of 2010. Kenny can be seen keeping busy around the clinic, cleaning every area, helping clients bring in larger pets, assisting with x-rays and keeping the hospital organized. While Kenny doesn’t own any pets of his own, he makes up for it, by loving and caring for every pet that comes in our doors as if it were his own.

    Lona started with Animal Medical Center of Corona September 4, 2018, as an Administrative Assistant.  Before that she was primarily in the technology field but decided to return to her passion working in a field related to the caring of animals.  Lona is also a dog and horse trainer, an equine consultant and an Active Arabian horse show judge and riding instructor in the fields of English, western and dressage.  She volunteers at local equine rescues as a trainer.  She is the very proud mother of Shay, a previously feral dog that ran with a coyote pack as a pup and now, is a happy and loving family member in her forever home. You may see Lona around the office, keeping the office organized and efficient.

    Dr. Bart received his Bachelor’s degree in 1981 and his Veterinary Doctorate in 1987 from University of California at Davis. He has worked in the veterinarian field for over 40 years, since his teens. He opened his own practice (AMC) on September 28, 2005. He grew up on a lake in Florida then n the hills of Thousand Oaks, CA where he fell in love with nature and especially reptiles. He is the proud father of Christopher and Raquel as well as owning his own small zoo full of various animals ranging from dogs and cats to tortoises, snakes, lizards, a DYH Amazon and a Blue and Gold Macaw. He and his lovely wife, April, have been serving the Corona community for over 30 years. Hobbies include off roading, visiting places with lots of wildlife, going to zoos and animal parks and playing with his reptiles.

    Dr. Carrie received her bachelor’s degree at University of California, Davis studying Animal Biology and Psychology and received her veterinary degree at University of Glasgow (in Scotland). She was born in California but raised in Indiana then Taiwan. Before attending veterinary school, Dr. Hsing worked as a veterinary assistant and zookeeper. Dr. Hsing joined the AMC staff in 2017 and has a particular interest in pocket animal medicine in addition to dogs and cats. She is fluent in English and Mandarin. She is bunny mom to four rescue rabbits. During her spare time Dr. Hsing enjoys traveling to foreign countries, trying new food, hiking, cooking, and weight lifting.

    Dr. Code received her Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University having studied Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Sciences. She then moved abroad to St. Kitts, West Indies where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from ROSS University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Code completed her clinical affiliate year at Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

    She is originally from British Columbia, Canada. Dr. Code has always had a passion for working with exotic animals, especially exotic felines. Prior to veterinary school, she had experience working with tigers, lions, cougars, and lynx in Wylie, TX. She also owned her own reptile rescue for over 3 years.

    Dr. Code enjoys teaching and being an artist. She has a black Pomeranian named Kujo that she calls her son, a Pitbull / Rottweiler mix named Diesel, and two identical grey and white cats named Spyro and Kiro. Dr. Code is the newest veterinarian on our team and is very excited to be here in Corona.
